PLM Strategy Consultant – Energy Sector

We are looking for a highly qualified Strategy Consultant with 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector to join our prestigious strategy consulting boutique. You will play a key role as a PLM strategy expert in a strategic transformation project for one of our major clients. Your mission will be to provide in-depth strategic analyses, optimize their PLM processes and contribute to the evolution of this rapidly changing sector.

Responsibilities

Industry Analysis and Research: Conduct in-depth research on energy industry dynamics, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, emerging technologies and PLM best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and identify opportunities for our client to optimize their product lifecycle management processes.
PLM Strategic Planning and Development: Work closely with the client to understand their challenges and aspirations. Develop tailored PLM strategies, digital roadmaps and innovative solutions that align with their business objective and market realities.
PLM Solution Implementation and Optimization: Oversee the implementation of tailored PLM solutions (e.g., Aras, Enovia, Teamcenter, Windchill), coordinating business and technical teams. Evaluate and adjust solutions to maximize operational efficiency and user adoption.
Operational Excellence and Efficiency: Collaborate with the client to improve their industrial process, optimize their value chain, and reduce costs related to product lifecycle management. Identify areas for improvement and propose concrete solutions to increase productivity and overall performance.
Financial Analysis and Investment Evaluation: Conduct financial analyses on PLM projects, including financial modeling and cost-benefit assessments. Provide strategic recommendations based on the ROI of technology projects.
Change Management and Digital Transformation: Support the client in their digital transformation and organizational change project. Develop change management strategies, facilitate workshops and ensure the smooth transition to new processes or technologies.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client, as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Understand their specific needs and provide customized solutions to maximize the value of PLM projects.

Requirements

Master’s degree in engineering, project management, economics or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in strategy or management consulting, with a focus on the energy sector or digital transformation.
Expertise in PLM solutions (Aras, Enovia, Teamcenter, Windchill) and understanding of industrial processes.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop PLM strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
Proven experience in project management, strategy development or implementation of digital solutions in the energy sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner.
Proficiency in standard analytical tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools).
Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in French is highly desirable.
