He obtained his PhD on the evolution of the product model regarding the systems of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM). He conducted several R&D projects to extend the application of PLM systems to new areas. As a process engineer, he spent several years to work on the development of optimization methods for the economic optimization of energy plants.
